Social Media Value of Attention

The great thing about growing your brand online is that all the spoils go to you. You build up a group of followers and fans, an attention base that is there for you time and time again (as long as you respect them).

Well cultivated attention is a long term asset. Your time and money is an investment in your brand , not an expense.

If you’re not already growing your personal brand, it’s time to start. If you’re not pumped to do so, check out Gary Vaynerchuck below. He’s the Awesome.

Will Work For Attention is just one photograph from an amazing collection by Stephen Poff, check him out.

  • I love that guy.... he's like Scarface and Tony Robbins combined.
  • Ah, the GV Web 2.0 keynote... yes, a healthy dose of Mr. Gary Vaynerchuk. I love everything he has to say :)

You're right, of course, about investing in your personal brand. Everything you say and do online is recorded for the history books. A series of tiny self edits day after day after day will culminate in your final story, unfolding before the world... and it has no re-writes. What kind of a story do you tell?
  • Always love the articles, and once again I cant agree more, email marketing can be very useful if its targeted, there is nothing more targeted then your own audience (like a siad in the last blog i think) building a large email data base of your clients is very useful when launching new lines and products, when you mix this in with your regular marketing stratigies and a great product , then you get hype! Also comunicating with your faithful clients is a great way to open the door to customer feedback.
