A Mashable HOW TO – Measure Social Media ROI

by Jess Sloss on October 27, 2009

in Business, the Social Web

Apparently 84% of social media programs don’t measure return on investment. That’s not very surprising, I’ve heard that 99% of businesses don’t effectively measure advertising ROI.

Then again I’ve also heard that 84% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Regardless, Mashable has put together a brief post outlining a variety of ways and tools to measure ROI. View the complete list here Even better, watch the above presentation by Oliver Blanchard

The most interesting, for me at least, is the section titled “Social Media Product Suites” or software that can help you manage relationships on social networks. see Vitrue SRM or Sales Force.

Happy ROI-ing
