Passion, Soda and Business an oddly inspiring video

in Business, the Social Web

Jon owns and operates Galcos Soda Pop Stop in LA , a soda lovers paradise.

Jon Loves Soda

The man is Passionate (yes a capital P) for Soda. He has over 500 flavors for sale and he’s tasted everyone, from the Q-Cucumber to the “Floral” line, he’s the man in the know.

He reminds me an older, more cuddly version of Gary Vaynerchuck, for the Soda world of course.

The Lesson

Seth Godin put it brilliantly in his post Everyone is Clueless

You don’t want everyone. You want the right someone.

Someone who cares about what you do. Someone who will make a contribution that matters. Someone who will spread the word.

As soon as you start focusing on finding the right someone, things get better, fast. That’s because you can ignore everyone and settle in and focus on the people you actually want.

Good to see small passionate businesses like Jon’s doing well.

Here’s to passion and focus!
