digital marketing statistics for Luddites

While most of us folks working in the digital media world don’t need convincing of the virtues and potential of online marketing, there are still a pile of people who do. That’s why these statistics are so great.

New Digital Marketing Stats from Razorfish

Razorfish just released FEED, The Razorfish Digital Brand Experience Report ( awesome site ) with some eye-opening stats.

  • 65% of consumers report having had a digital experience that either positively or negatively changed their opinion about a brand.
  • 73% of consumers have posted a product or brand review on a website like Amazon, Yelp, Facebook or Twitter.
  • 44% of those that follow twitter do so for exclusive deals. They’re not looking for conversations from those brands.
  • 64% of consumers report making a first purchase from a brand because of a digital experience.
Talk about some powerful statistics that could come in handy if you had to convince a client or boss about the value of digital media. Here’s to the day when these sort of stats aren’t surprising anymore.  Click here to read the entire report.
