Does the Wedding of the future Happen on Facebook?

Dana (the dude) and Tracy, his now wife have had their wedding go viral. All because of this video and a little status update.

Updating Facebook and Twitter Status from the Altar

Right before the Reverend spoke the famous words “you may kiss the bride” both Dana and Tracy updated their relationship status. Dana even wrote the following tweet:

This was just done to be funny – we really don’t Facebook THAT often :) .

I have a lot of family scattered around the country and we all use Facebook a lot to keep in touch. So when Tracy and I were engaged, most of my family found out via Facebook because we updated our statuses.

The reverend finishes of by saying, “it’s official on facebook and by my book. You may kiss the bride.”

So who’s going to have the first live Facebook wedding?
