If you’re a regular reader of this site, you might have noticed the banner to the right for The First Drop. It’s a project I’ve been a part of that has the goal of creating better discussion among Canada’s Next Generation of leadership. A worthy cause, especially these days

Well, this week we’re very excited to announce the search for founding contributors.

The Opportunity

The First Drop is looking for 20 individuals who can:

“..write a good, reasoned, reality-based piece and trigger a great conversation.

Actually, that’s what we really care about – the conversations that emerge from your writing. Have a voice, but no way to get it out there? TFD can be that way. Have a blog or book already? TFD can help you reach a bigger audience and draw in new perspectives. Just want to help us create a community of future Canadian leaders? Great.”

What makes me really excited about this project is the focus on inclusion and fostering reality based discussion (read: we want a variety of views and backgrounds and that you better back up your stuff with facts, not conjecture). You should probably check out the Contributor Guidelines page.

So if you want to get involved or just read more about the project Visit The First Drop Now! or feel free to email Brendan if you have questions or want more information.
