Internet Marketing a Star: You know why? ROI

by Jess Sloss on October 11, 2008

With the economy in the tank,  what hope does new media marketing have in the coming year? A hell of a lot.

The illustrious Gary Vaynerchuck of Wine Library TV put out a great video on why he thinks the internet is the place to be advertising in a down economy.

You Know Why? R.O.I !

The Coles Notes

  • TechCrunch and Globe and Mail say online advertising is “softening”, negativly effected by the economy
  • Gary says, No Way! Just like Costco and Walmart and Wine Library are stars due to better pricing
  • Google and internet marketing have ROI. News Papers, Magazines, TV, Radio don’t show ROI. Obnoxious pricing for advertising dollars
  • More and more people are on the internet, even Gary’s mom
  • You can track it!

Well said, Gary.
